In view of the large occasion of the 50th anniversary of Fluxus Anniversary of the founding of the Fluxus movement, which in 2012 celebrated solemnly in Wiesbaden directed, the Emerson Gallery Berlin to the Cologne Art Fair 2011 to focus on three main protagonists and representatives of Fluxus as a preview on the round anniversary.
Although Wiesbaden undisputed birthplace of Fluxus, the Rhineland, Cologne, and of course are much since the “youth” of the movement was.
At the Cologne Art Fair 2011, we therefore show works by Ben Patterson, and Jaroslaw Kozlowski Steingrímur Eyfjörð. The artists represent three generations and various international focus of Fluxus as a still existing and most vibrant art form.
