Principal Joseph Driscoll thanked the students for their contributions to the community such as building a playground at the East Falmouth Elementary School and volunteering at the Falmouth Service Center their strength and compassion when facing the tragedy of losing two classmates and their spirit and unity throughout the school’s ongoing reconstruction. “You brought us all together when we were divided into five different buildings” he said. “I respect you and if there’s ever anything we can do for you just call on us. ”Senior class Vice President Karen Truscott urged her classmates to be safe but daring sensible but curious.

This year marks the fifth year the Military team has traveled to Cape Cod to help raise awareness of the sacrifices being made by the men and women in the Armed Forces and is part of their 20th “Red White and Blue Tour of America. ”The Military team joined for the first time by a team of Latin All Stars defeated the CCBL team 5-2 on Monday avenging their loss to the Western Division the night before which had snapped their 17-game winning streak. “It was just great to be out here with a truly outstanding crowd” said new Brewster manager Tom Myers. “We wish we had been able to get the win in the process but you have to give them credit they (Military team) played hard and didn’t make mistakes and that’s the key to winning baseball games.

The top three students in the class were: Lindsey Mahoney (MacDonald medal valedictorian) Kelly Kneeland (salutatorian) and BiKang Zhang (MacDonald medal). Getting their diplomas Saturday was just the tip of the iceberg for the 188 Randolph High School graduates. In the last four years the class garnered praise for accomplishments not just in the classroom but outside. Those accomplishments were not just limited to the town of Randolph. Some also have been honored for their performances on the athletics fields and stages across the South Shore.
