By Dan Hartzell | Of The Morning Call December 15 2008 The Liberty High School Hurricanes brought their state football championship celebration home to Bethlehem Sunday afternoon sharing their long-awaited win with the community just 16 hours after capturing the title in Hershey. The Christmas City took a time-out from its usual frenzied holiday season giving the team a rousing welcome with a 45-minute 2 p. parade through the heart of a downtown bustling with sometimes bewildered shoppers. Starting and ending at City Hall the parade took a counter-clockwise path along New Broad Main and Church streets the route filled with supporters of the victorious squad.
