The weekly country music show which premiered April 19 1948 two months after WLWT-TV began broadcasting was broadcast nationally as a NBC summer replacement show for Sid Caesar’s “Your Show of Shows” in 1951. The “Hayride” which was syndicated to 90 stations in the late 1960s was canceled in 1972.
