Vitus Cathedral Czech RepublicConstruction of this Gothic cathedral in Prague did not begin until 1344 and took centuries to finish. It is the largest cathedral in Prague and historically hosted the coronations of Czech kings and queens. Royalty are also interred in the mausoleum which is surrounded by a ring of chapels where the relics of patron saints remain.
