write(”" + i + ” | “)}} Boeing’s 747 jumbo jet got bumped from its position as the largest commercial plane when Airbus’s A380 super jumbo entered service in ctober. Boeing is revamping its jumbo and showed off the interior of its 747-8 Intercontinental in January. The passenger version of the 747-8 has not been as popular as its cargo version partially because Airbus does not offer an A380 freighter.

write(”" + i + ” | “)}} In ctober Boeing replaced 787 chief Mike Bair with Pat Shanahan a vice president in the company’s defense division just weeks after the company announced a six-month delay in the program. Several changes in aerospace leadership positions took place in 2007. Both the local labor unions representing Boeing’s engineers and machinists have made new people in key positions.

Many paintings and especially his beach series are rarely seen. The range of art demonstrates Thiebaud’s originality skill colorful and profound observations of the human condition. At BC Space “Come Hell and High Water” was a photo exhibition of three Louisiana photographers who captured unbelievable images before during and after Katrina and the New rleans disaster. The photographers gave us an artistic view that no newspaper could convey. The Laguna College of Art and Design made an historic agreement with the Florence Academy of Art for a student exchange. European art students will be studying here while LCAD students will spend the summer in Florence. LCAD also had a summer art gallery Gallery 821 where students in the first year master’s curriculum under the guidance of Professor Robin Fuld made and exhibited the art ran the shop and provided the community with a very high caliber of professionalism… The Laguna College of Art and Design made an historic agreement with the Florence Academy of Art for a student exchange. European art students will be studying here while LCAD students will spend the summer in Florence. LCAD also had a summer art gallery Gallery 821 where students in the first year master’s curriculum under the guidance of Professor Robin Fuld made and exhibited the art ran the shop and provided the community with a very high caliber of professionalism. John Barber and Louis Longi created the art for the new trolley stop. Their glass and bronze beacon and bench is a terrific edition to our city and a delightful way people can wait for transportation to the various festivals. At the Peter Blake Gallery Cheryl Ekstrom is showing her steel sculpture of classic mid-century furniture. Ekstrom is also exhibiting her art at the Walter Bischoff Gallery in Germany.

When we got into the stadium it was definitely colder than the forecast had called for but it sure didn?t seem to dampen the enthusiasm of the Bearcat fans. The official Bearcat sections were completely packed; I would guess we had 60-40 edge on the Southern Miss fans. The photo gallery from the UC site captioned one of the pictures by saying that 8325 Bearcat fans travelled to Birmingham and I can?t dispute that number based on what I saw. The other side of the stadium had a fair number of local fans that were definitely rooting for the underdog and southern team. I honestly was hoping for at least 5000 actual butts in the seats and to see several thousand more fans that that all standing cheering and smacking the ?bam bams? together in unison was something you really had to experience. The fan support was really great throughout the game and I truly believe that it helped the Bearcats overcome some early mistakes and Southern Miss momentum.

The exhibition which was a blend of abstract interpretations figurineslandscapes masterpieces still life showcased works of some of prominentartists of the city like Chandrakant Channe Prabhakar Patil Manisha PatilPramod Ramteke. “This is forthe first time in the city that works of so many artists have been broughttogether under one roof. Every artist has his own individualistic style andtheir paintings reveal this fact” said Manisha Patil.
First nude photo book published in Vietnam

The Hanoi Department of Culture and Information licensed Thai Phien to organize a nude photo exhibition in late November 2007 which was then postponed to January 1 2008. Thai Phien hasn?t yet received the Hanoi Department of Culture and Information?s extension license for a later show but says he will bring his photos to Hanoi late this December to wait for the license. This is the first nude photo exhibition to be licensed in Hanoi in fact the whole country. Recently the HCM City Department of Culture and Information refused to grant him a license reasoning that nude photos are unsuitable to the customs and tradition of Vietnam.
