Many of Burdick-Poitras’ photos are taken in and around Northampton – like “Berries and a Beaver” which captures a dark-blue beaver graffito the light blue wall it resides on and a branch sporting deep-red berries. She said that she didn’t recognize that the painted shape was a beaver until she had taken the photo and returned home. “I just thought it was a really interesting shape” she said… “[This exhibit is either] a jumpstart for my career or [Gregory[']s] breakout.
