Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ratings with customer research related to fuel economy air pollution and greenhouse gases. In 2007 10 hybrids made the top 30 compared with 8 hybrids in the 2006 list.

Another award winner is Brenda McMahon whose unique saggar-fired porcelain pottery is burnished by hand on the potter’s wheel and comes in many unique contemporary and timeless shapes as well as in those simplest of shapes tiles. Paul Elson had a 25-year career as a commercial photographer and then created an art form he calls Photo Impressionism. This can involve watercolor and digital photography and a work may go through several stages before an image is finalized. His photos have been shown in Taipei and New York and they are currently in three galleries in Australia. Linda Cromer has shown her watercolors nationally and internationally as well. Her vivid rich still lifes are reminiscent of the old masters but lighter and brighter. Jean Andrew’s traditional watercolors are inspired by travels to Nantucket Martha’s Vineyard Block Island Jamaica and Sanibel Island.
