Windows Live Photo Gallery is free and to be used in conjunction with Windows Live Spaces Microsoft’s online social network. “The initial managed beta of Windows Live Photo Gallery beta is available today in nine markets around the world so far (including the United States (English and Spanish) China France Germany Great Britain India Japan and Spain) with more to come” said Chris Jones corporate vice president of the Windows Live Experience Program in a company press release. “We’re really proud of this service because it’s so easy to share photos – it’s really as easy as sending an e-mail. ” The Windows Live Photo Gallery is an update to the gallery tool included in Windows Vista. Microsoft also announced Windows Live Folders which allows users to store 500 MB of data online for free. Windows Live initially released in 2005 is a collection of online services including e-mail a chat tool and Web search.

It is called HTML code and it is as old as the internet. Let people embed pictures on any website or forum the participate in by embedding the html code in their post which displays the image stored on Microsoft servers. f course Microsoft will never allow that. Why keep it simple when you can disable hotlinking as its called and insist your army of lawyers approve which sites get to display which pictures instead of the person who actually uploaded those pictures?I highly recommend www. com to anyone wanting to host pictures they want to use at a variety of sites.

Gallery owner Kristy Cifuentes says the body of work “investigates contemporary American culture through iconic images from daily life. By manipulating imagery from economic technological political and cultural sources Curcio constructs current societal icons saturated with double meaning and irony… “For the artist however it is portable and extremely versatile and rewarding. For the collector these pieces offer a new look and feel. ” Traditional work in colored pencil can be very realistic and Wukela’s pencil drawings are finely drawn often nearly photo realistic. Her drawings exhibit strong colors with fine textures featuring florals and still-lifes. The skin tones of her figures are especially rich and almost soft to the touch. “These pieces take a long time and are painstakingly done” says Wukela. ften overlooked the colored pencil can create truly beautiful works of art.
