Aluratek ADMPF210 Digital Photo Frame (10 inch)
CNET Reviews – Jun 17, 2007
To say that they’re tinny doesn’t even start to describe their inability to reproduce a wide range of tonal frequencies. Put simply if you want your music to sound like it’s being played on a cheap boombox blaring in the backyard then try playing it on this frame. Like the video playback though this is typical of digital photo frames so you can’t blame Aluratek too much here despite the fact that it’d be nice for a frame to be able to play back some soft music during a photo slide show. ne feature I did find nice is the calendar and clock which let you set times for the frame to turn on and off. Since most people use too much electricity as it is it’s nice to be able to set the frame to shut off at night when you won’t be awake to look at it anyway. The most important part of a digital photo frame in my opinion is the screen. In this case it’s a 10… What’s worse it doesn’t include Wi-Fi which means that the frame is an island unto itself. While Kodak’s frame doesn’t have quite as nice of a wood bezel as this Aluratek it still offers a better value in my book thanks to the versatility of its wireless connectivity. f course if you don’t have wireless Internet access at home then the Kodak’s wireless advantage becomes moot.

The first-floor restaurant has been open since the middle of last month. And the art gallery also on the first floor is already booked through the end of the year. But don’t break out the champagne just yet.

The project is being implemented in association with United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund. Former warehouse space turns into a sleek place
Arizona Daily Star – Jun 17, 2007
I painted the longest wall in the space deep chocolate brown and I turned it into a photography gallery to showcase the incredible shots taken by Rahul and Radhika who are both accomplished amateur photographers. I then put down new flooring directly over the dated terra cotta ? a pre-finished wide-planked wooden floor done in a hickory finish. To light up the space I installed a mixture of recessed lights and hanging pendant fixtures but the real feature is a modern halogen track system that drops down from the 10-foot ceiling to highlight the new photo gallery. In addition I mounted a flat-screen television on the wall so the couple will have a place to display a constant loop of their photographic talents. I then got started on the room’s big focus ? an ultrachic fireplace. I ripped out the old-fashioned wood stove and relocated the chimney to allow the new long sleek gas-burning fireplace to be placed along one wall. I surrounded the fireplace with porcelain tile and put in a stunning dark wood bench below complete with recessed lighting.
